Book Review: "Little One-Yard Wonders"

by Judy Tucker

I was recently in Barnes and Noble bookstore and just had a few minutes to browse.  It was one of those times when you find a wonderful book that you weren't looking for!

Little One-Yard Wonders by Rebecca Yaker and Patricia Hoskins is a delight!  I especially love the cute patterns for kids clothes. One the cover above you can see the Western shirt for little boys and on the back cover is a girl's top that is really cute.  There are also patterns for several great knit dresses which is why I had to have it!

There are lots of fun projects, toys and utilitarian accessories in the book--101 in all.  One of the projects is "House in a Hallway".  Once completed, the house is hung up across a hallway on curtain tension rods. What fun for a rainy day!

The patterns are included in an envelop at the front of this ring-bound book.  Each project just needs 1 yard of fabric.

If you are sewing for children 10 and under, I highly recommend this book!
