I wanted to make a couple bookmark inkle bands for St. Patrick's Day gifts. This design is a combination of several patterns from Heather Torgenrud's Norwegian Pick-Up Bandweaving book.

I like the little cross in the middle of the diamonds in this pattern. On the front of the band the cross is white while on the back it is green.

I used a rigid pattern heddle with my ingle loom for the first time. Doing pick-up weaving really is a lot easier when the pattern threads are separated from the rest of the warp.
