Making Yarn Doll Hair Using Warping Pegs

One of the items I purchased after I was given my inkle loom was a set of Schacht Warping Pegs. As I was reading the instructions, I realized that the warping pegs would be really helpful making yarn hair for dolls. I'd been using the back of a chair. It worked, but the yarn tended to slip down which took time to fix and the yarn tended to get tangled.

So when I started making several dolls recently, I set up the warping pegs to do their hair. It worked brilliantly. I was able to wind up to 3 hair colors at the same time. It was fast, efficient and all the strands were the same length!  I wish I'd known about warping pegs sooner!!
