Our guild, Proper Bostonian Quilters, makes charity quilts for a variety of needs. One is a quilt suitable for use with a patient in a wheelchair.  It's important that these quilts are the right sizes so that they don't drag on the floor or get caught in the wheels or other mechanisms of the chair.  Our guild asks that wheelchair quilts to measure between 36 x 36 inches to 36 x 40 inches.

This quilt measures 36 x 36 inches and is made with 2 different sized squares and sashing. It's a great scrap quilt and can be completed in a weekend.
